At TD, we have made a commitment to reduce our environmental impact by supporting renewable energy sources.
| As a first step, we are working with Bullfrog Power and the Pembina Institute to use Green Power for our Green Machine network. Now, all of our Green Machines will source power from clean, emission free generation sources such as wind power and low-impact water power. |

Choosing Green Power is a practical and meaningful way for individuals and organizations to reduce their environmental impact. Electricity generation is a leading industrial source of carbon dioxide, a primary greenhouse gas linked to climate change, as well as other emissions that contribute to poor air quality.
Like you, we care about the environment. This is just one of the ways that we’re doing our part to create a better environment for us and for future generations. By choosing clean, renewable power for our Green Machines, we will reduce our carbon footprint, help clean air quality and support the development of renewable energy.
What is Green Power?
Green Power is an environmentally friendly alternative to other sources of electricity generation in Canada. It is electricity taken from a renewable energy source such as wind or low impact hydro sources.
About Bullfrog Power
Bullfrog Power is a leading provider of 100% green electricity to homes and businesses in Alberta and Ontario with an easy way to go green and help create clean, renewable sources such as wind power and low-impact water power that displace polluting and carbon-intensive sources such as coal. In regions where Bullfrog Power is available, TD Green Machines are “bullfrogpowered.”

About The Pembina Institute
The Pembina Institute is a national, not-for-profit environmental organization dedicated to creating sustainable energy solutions. Bullfrog Power and the Pembina Institute have formed a unique partnership designed to jointly promote the benefits of renewable power. To greenpower Green Machines in regions where Bullfrog Power is not available, the Pembina Institute will inject made-in-Alberta wind power onto the electricity grid.

We’re making a difference together
Green Power is just one of the ways we’re working to improve the environment. Here are two other examples of how TD customers and employees are making a difference together –
TD Friends of the Environment Foundation – Since 1990, TD customers and employees have contributed more than $45 million in support of 17,000 grassroots environmental and wildlife projects in communities across Canada. For more information on how you can make a difference, visit www.fef.ca
TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup – Every year, we support the TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup. In 2007, more than 50,000 people volunteered for the cleanup and scrubbed nearly 1,800 km of shoreline at 1,240 different sites coast to coast.
